Grilling in the Sunshine with McCormick Grill Mates

#AD The weather is finally warmer in Las Vegas! The sun is shining, the clouds have cleared, and the temperatures are rising! Spring is here and summer is just around the corner which means it is the perfect time to start grilling!

Our family loves nothing more than gathering outside in our backyard as we grill our favorite foods! This past weekend we decided to break out the grill for the first time in a long time to make a delicious meal to enjoy under the sunshine. I decided to make the family some delicious seasoned chicken using McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Chicken Seasoning

with a side of jalapeños, sweet peppers, and grilled brussel sprouts. The boys are huge fans of this meal and I love that it is super easy to cook.

The previous day I ordered all of the ingredients from Walmart Grocery curbside pickup: https://bit.ly/WalmartGrillMates

For the recipe, you will need McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Chicken Seasoning (our absolute favorite), salt, olive oil, 1 bag of sweet organic peppers, 4-6 jalapeños, 1 pound of brussel sprouts, and 1-2 pounds of organic chicken breast. This is the perfect amount of food for a family of 4 and we usually have a few leftovers we use the next day.

Once I gathered all of the ingredients I soaked the brussel sprouts, jalapeños, and sweet peppers in warm water for about 5 minutes. I then took out the chicken and placed it on a tray to add the seasoning. First, I covered both sides of the breasts in olive oil and salt. Then, I added McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Chicken Seasoning all over the top of the chicken breast. When I say all over, I mean all over! This is by far one of our favorite seasonings and we love to load up our favorite foods with it. This seasoning is not only good on meat, but it also tastes great on vegetables and plant based protein as well!

After all the chicken was seasoned I covered it and placed it in the fridge while I prepared the rest of the meal. Next, drain the peppers and brussel sprouts and place them on the cutting board. I always peel the first layer of leaves off the bruises sprouts because they are usually a bit bitter. Once peeled, I sliced them in half and placed them on a tray. For the peppers, all I do is cut off the stems and place them on a tray to season once they are all cut. I then seasoned the brussel sprouts with olive oil, salt, and again covered them with McCormick Grill Mates Montreal Chicken Seasoning.

Ta Da! Now you are ready to grill! I went ahead and popped everything on the grill and kept an eye on it as I cleaned everything up in the kitchen.

Now if you do not have a grill, if weather doesn’t permit. or you simply would rather cook in the kitchen you can easily pop all of these in the oven on 350 degrees and cook for about 30 minutes. Make sure to check on your meal periodically to ensure that it is cooked to perfection!

There you have it! A delicious and healthy meal from my kitchen to yours with McCormick Grill Mates!

I hope you and your family enjoy! Be sure to check out McCormick’s social pages to learn more about their delicious seasonings!
