Recently I learned about CAULIPOWER Chicken Tenders and decided to pick up a few bags on my next Smith's shopping trip. I was pleased to find both flavors (Original & Spicy(ish) at my local Summerlin Smith's in Las Vegas. I headed home and immediately popped a few tenders in our conventional oven to give them a whirl!
What caught my eye about these CAULIPOWER Chicken Tenders? First off, the entire bag is only 490 calories and has 86% less fat than any other chicken tender or nugget. I also loved the fact that they were gluten-free and had coating packed with cauliflower rather than your typical breading. Not to mention they are BAKED, instead of being fried! WIN!!
Now the real test was feeding the CAULIPOWER Chicken Tenders to my husband and kids to see if they could spot the difference and if they enjoyed it! Well, let me tell you....they literally ate the entire bag in one sitting! (Good thing the whole bag is legit only 490 calories)! They were beyond impressed with the taste and crispy goodness. Even my four year old enjoyed the Spicy(ish) flavor!
